Members likely didn't notice the forum was under construction Wednesday evening as administrators put into place a new logo. The logo, designed by Paper Rabbit Photography, was designed to represent the somewhat hectic stylings of old typewriters.

A single title was chosen over a more artistic ode to The Shining due to formatting limitations. The original logo idea, also done by PRP, is as follows:



The size of the image could not be fit into the limited space of the forum header Wednesday.

BTW, what's the concept behind the word "apex"? (English is not my first language so I'm a bit muddled... I didn't even know apex was word... my ignorant ass )

lol, no problems. Well my band in tampa was called Apex Shift. Apex is the highest point, say, on a mountain, or in a story, etc. It doesn't have to be physical, it can be emotional or whatever. It's like sierra. Apex Shift is a mathematical term (we didn't actually know that until after), but we used it to mean a shift in what is the highest point aka what is considered good in music. Project Apex I guess is inspired by the band but is referring to hitting the apex of writing: reaching the highest point.

The title is from a typewriter, if you couldn't tell .
