We don't require members to meet quotas with posting, or to visit every day.

Although, we are seeking active members who are passionate about writing to build our community. In order to ensure the continued quality of feedback our members give and receive, the forum will now uphold the following participation guidelines:

Any new member who does not leave at least one post within two weeks of joining will be sent a warning saying their account is on probation. If the member does not ...

Etiquette of Fine Dining

No, not like where to put which fork and which glass to use for wine. This is the general drift of how etiquette will be moderated on Project Apex: not very much. Anything goes except comments which do not pertain to the writing. You can all throw beer glasses and get rowdy in the general discussion "pub" area -- that's what it's for. As for the writing areas, the purpose is to give feedback to one another. Your comments should help the writer better his or her work. A warning to posters: ...

Posting Your Work

Posting format is kind of up to you, but beware that indents seem to disappear as well as double spacing when you copy and paste things from a word document. A quick remedy might be to use line breaks between paragraphs once you get it into the message box. It's a bit frustrating, but it's the best I can come up with. Let me know if there's a better way and I'll put the information on this post. Be sure to include a title and author or pen name in the subject line, if you have those. Stick ...

A word on copyright

The internet has no guarantees of copyright protection, and we at Project Apex can only do so much to protect your work. Before posting you should understand that putting your work online is a risk, period. That being said, all sections of the forum relating to your personal work are members only, for posting and for viewing. Only those willing to join will get to interact in the writing sections, and hopefully keeping tabs that way helps to curb infringement of one another. If you're the ...
