Just a few changes...

I got these prompts off of creativewritingprompts.com. But honestly, there isn't much creative about them, and they just aren't inspiring. So I made a few corrections.

1.) Use these words in a story: Hurricane, Flashlight, Lawn Mower pesticide, bondage toys, a lightning rod

2.) It was Erica Jong who said, "If you don't risk anything, you risk more." Write about what that means to you. That's pretty fucking stupid. Write about how stupid that is. I mean, what does that ...

Your dog just died, your mother told you during visitation hours. You were a once-distinguished journalist with a really big newspaper -- obviously wrongfully locked up in this insane asylum in the first place -- I mean, come on, who doesn't take a paper bag filled with old jelly and throw it at the Mayor while running naked through the crowd at an assembly yelling, "free beelzebub, the end aproaches!" You haven't lived until you've tried it.

Write an article about the bastards ...

Depth Perception, by management

A crow with one eye is staring rudely at the girlfriend of a British sailor as the couple eat lunch at an outdoors cafe. The bird is really staring at a crumb from a pastrie that has fallen on her breast, but the sailor, who has swallowed a bit too much saltwater in his day, doesn't take kindly to the crow's gawking and sqwacking.

He'll defend her honor, to the death!

But in an English non-confrontational way. Write the scene without the sailor actually interacting with the crow.

I can't help but feel guilty... by management

A mad man is speeding recklessly down the streets of east L.A. I don't know where east L.A. is, for all I know it doesn't exist -- I've never seen it. It sounded good, anyways. Whatever, so he's speeding recklessly down the street and swerving to hit helpless animals and use the elderly for speed bumps. What a jerk! Write the scene from the point of view of the right passenger side hub cap.
