Inactive members removed

This is just sort of a warning to the several active members, or maybe it's a relief, depending on how you look at it.

The forum occasionally gets a new member that joins and never posts, or contributes, or in some cases never returns after joining. This leaves accounts open that could be hacked, or that could be accessed for the purpose of stealing the work of others etc. For safety reasons, those accounts are normally put on probation based on the rules of the forum.

The forum was down for a period of time yesterday, but through investigation it appeared many forumotion forums were down due to issues with the server. Some were up however Project Apex was one to lose connection. It is now back up, but such errors and restorations are out of the hands of Project Apex administrators. If future errors occur such as what happened yesterday try contacting forumotion officials to determine the problem and when it may be solved. Sorry for the inconvenience, I ...

Sorry I haven't had much of a chance to make updates to the forum these past couple weeks. What with the dog being sick, work as stressful (and fulfilling I keep telling myself ) as ever, spending time with the Mrs. and trying to get in a little bit of fiction of my own, I've been neglectful of the site.

I do try to get out here as often as possible though, and respond to posters when possible. There will be new writing prompts, contests and things of that nature within the next couple ...

Second makeover to project moves forward

Officials have unveiled another project to change the face of the forum.

Forum Administrator Montag said Friday, "The changes have been well documented before hand and there's been plenty of time to address issues with the layout."

According to the clerk's office, however, no such documentation has been filed.

The project is estimated to cost approximately $0.

"What did you expect?" said Montag. "It's a free forum."

Logo leaves forum under construction

Members likely didn't notice the forum was under construction Wednesday evening as administrators put into place a new logo. The logo, designed by Paper Rabbit Photography, was designed to represent the somewhat hectic stylings of old typewriters.

A single title was chosen over a more artistic ode to The Shining due to formatting limitations. The original logo idea, also done by PRP, is as follows:

The size of the image could not be fit into the limited space of the forum header ...

Officials: forums to change face

Project Apex, a writer's forum still in its infancy, has already decided to change color scheme, according to a forum manager known only as "Montag."

Though Montag refused comment Thursday afternoon, a user has leaked the alleged plans to local media. The member chose not to disclose their identity in fear of persecution.

"The plans for a turquoise and silvery background were called 'idiotic' and 'just plain silly' for a while around the office, but I guess it finally ...

Ribbon Cutting

Okay, so there's no ribbon, and no scissors, but that doesn't mean we can't cut the ribbon.

Wait, actually, that's exactly what it means. Sorry. Well since I've got you all riled up anyways, here's what's going on: Project Apex is an extension of an earlier forum which has fallen into utter docility. In other words, no one joins, posts, or visits. It's partly my fault as an administrator, but in a way it's good because I've been inspired to start anew, and hopefully with forumotion things ...
